The support of the individual's family is important to the success of the client, therefore, in addition to individual counseling, CMI offers a Career Transition Package for spouses/partners. Our experience indicates that when the employed spouse participates in the program, or at the very least understands the process and supports the client, the family moves through the re-employment or retirement transition quickly and with more ease. For that reason, spouses and other family members are encouraged to come to all sessions and participate as much as possible. Group sessions and individual meetings will often be held later in the day to accommodate the schedule of a spouse or family members.
